This year, we found the whole world at our feet as we performed our end of year show “Can you imagine that?”. Throughout term three and four, our students worked hard on learning new dances and making them practically perfect in every way! We pieced together our dances from contemporary and ballet to musical theatre and jazz to tell our own version of Mary Poppins.
Colourful costumes and pretty props were made and transported to the theatre at Rolleston College. Here we had a dress rehearsal before our two shows! Backstage, some of our older students assisted our younger ones to create a safe and exciting environment. I even spotted some Mary Poppins themed colouring books!
We were fortunate to have a sold out audience in our evening show, full of our loving and supportive friends and family. Thank you to everyone who helped make this show possible. It was everything we could have imagined and could only be described as supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!
